Hello all, It has been a while since we published a blog on here. Apologies to all our regular readers! It has been a very busy 12 months since the mini budget announcement in October 2022. Quite frankly it sent shock waves through the mortgage market let alone the economy in general. During this period we have seen a number of changes in the appetite for mortgage lending. Changes in lending criteria and rates have been a regular topic of conversation with brokers and the media. Although it has been tough to keep track of, it has also allowed us time to reflect and work on the business and not just in it.

For the past 20 years we have been involved with all sorts of lending and have found ourselves becoming very popular and a trusted broker for commercial mortgages and development finance, including bridging finance for regulated and non-regulated needs. Then earlier in 2023 out mortgage network, Tenet Lime Ltd informed us they were selling and that our commercial and development finance permissions will no longer exist in 2024. So, we took action straight away and formed UK Commercial and Development Finance a trading name of UK Development Finance Limited.
